What are Tape Extensions? Tape Extensions are 4cm wide wefts of hair secured by adhesive and are one of the most popular methods of hair extensions. They are suitable for nearly all hair types, especially those with thin, damaged or broken hair.

What are Nano/Micro Ring Extensions? Nano Rings are the smallest and most discreet method of hair extension. They are individual strands of hair that are fitted behind or in front of your natural hair and clamped to secure. This method is suitable for thin-medium thickness hair, however they are unsuitable for really fine hair, as the bonds may become visible. Micro Rings are applied using the same technique as Nanos, however the bond is bigger and therefore, these are advised for medium-thick hair.

The LA WEAVE is an instant and long lasting extension method that lays flat on the scalp. This method requires a series of micro rings to be placed into a straight or curved line and the weft is then sewed in and secured, using nylon thread, that matches a clients natural root colour.

The INVISI WEAVE is applied using the same technique the LA Weave, however, unlike the LA Weave, this method ensures that there are no visible attachments at the base of the extensions. Two rows of hair wefts are sewn either side of the micro ring track to keep the rings hidden, by being sandwiched in between the two wefts.

The Hybrid Method is a technique that combines two or more hair extension methods to give a bespoke service tailored to the client’s specific hair type. This gives a more natural and full effect, whilst providing great flexibility for different hairstyles.

Consultations are a good opportunity for the client to ask questions and raise any concerns regarding the fitting and maintaining of your hair extensions. The hair extensionist will discuss and help you decide which method would be best for you, based on your natural hair type and lifestyle e.g. Have you got fine or course hair? Are you a gym-goer? Do you tie your hair up regularly for work?
